If the button second from the left has a flashing green light, gas has been programmed. If you are not using an inert gas kit, the machine will not operate if gas is programmed. Please go through each program P1-P9 and follow the instructions below to make sure gas is not programmed in ANY program. LED 1: VACUUM % a) Set Vacuum Percentage: Use the UP & DOWN keys to select the vacuum percentage (at 99.9% machine offers Extra Vacuum Time). Press the S key to move forward. b) Set Extra Vacuum Time: Use the UP & DOWN keys to select your desired value (up to 30 seconds). Press the S key to move forward. LED 2: INERT GAS % [Optional] Use the UP & DOWN keys to select the percentage of inert gas injection. Press the S key to move forward. LED 3: SEALING TIME Use the UP & DOWN keys to select the sealing time in seconds. Press the S key to lock in the data. LED 4: AIR RETURN No programming necessarry.

OIL:

MVS Vacuum sealers are pre-programmed to alert the operator to change the oil at 12,000 cycles.

We recommend monitoring the condition and level of oil every week, changing as necessary.

To reset the oil code, press the up arrow and the down arrow buttons at the same time.

EAA:

If you have received an EAA error code, your machine was unable to achieve the set vacuum level.

Check that the lid is closed properly.

Check the condition and level of the oil.

FLA:

If you have received an FLA error code, the machine is running on low voltage.

Check that the unit is plugged directly into a wall outlet, free from sharing power with anything with a motor or capacitor.

OFF:

First attempt to clear the "OFF" code by pressing the up arrow and the down arrow at the same time for 5 seconds.

If this does not clear the alarm, please complete the following:

1.Make sure that the power to the machine is off.

2.Press and hold the following 3 buttons; “S”, UP arrow, and DOWN arrow.

a.Now turn the machine on with all 3 buttons pushed in.
b.Once the machine is on then release the buttons.

3.The display will have a 3 digit number.
a.This number “xxx” where the first x = 100000, second x = 10000 and third x = 1000

4.Now press “S” and the display will have another 3 digit number.
a.This number “xxx” where the first x = 100, second x = 10 and third x = 1

5.The preceding 2 set of the 3 digit numbers combined are equal to the number of cycles this pump has run from the manufacture date.
a.Example:
i.The machine turns on and displayed “003” then you pressed “S” and it displayed “458” then you know the machine has gone through 3458 cycles.
ii.The machine turns on and displayed “187” then you pressed “S” and it displayed “729” then you know the machine has gone through 187729 cycles.

6.Now press “S” and the display should read “012”
a.This value is set for the “OIL” sign to come on the display after 12000 cycles of the machine.
b.You can adjust this value with the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to the desired amount.
i.For stores that vacuum products that are high in moisture content or very powdery then you should change this number to a lower value. The oil will need to be checked sooner (008 = 8000)

7.Now press “S” and the display should read “xxx”
a.This value can be left at “000”
b.If it is not “000” then use the DOWN arrow key to make it “000”

8.If you press “S” again it will go back to line 3 of these directions.

9.Now press “STOP” and the machine will go back to regular running mode.

If display is still showing "OFF" after these steps have all been completed, there is a possibility of a loose connection going to the board itself, low power being supplied to the control board, or the control board is in need of replacement.

1. Lift the lid of the machine open, and power off the machine.

2. Hold down the S button, up arrow, and down arrow. Continue pressing them while powering back on the machine.

3. Release the buttons once a 3 digit number appears on the screen.

4. The number that appears represents the hundred thousands. (Example: If machine displays 123 it means 123,000)

5. Press the S key. The next number represents the hundreds. (Example: If display reads 456 it means 456)

6. Press the S key. This number represents, in hundred thousands, what number of cycles reached will cause machine to display a reminder alarm for OIL.

7. Press the S key. This number represents, in hundreds, what number of cycles reached will cause machine to display a reminder alarm for OIL.

Turning the machine off and back on after viewing these numbers will reset it back to program display, with a P and a number based on what program you are in.
